No CommentsIndonesia Furniture Handicraft Wholesale Marketplace – As we all know that the furniture industry is one of 10 leading export commodity in our state. And until now the market demand has always shown a good graph. In other words, the export of furniture can still be excellent for generating foreign exchange.
Not an easy task for domestic furniture entrepreneurs to be more competitive in the market compete with a number of furniture manufacturers in the world. In terms of price alone, Indonesian products currently still quite high. Therefore, raw material prices here are still less competitive than other states. Not to mention the technology side and promotions.
Indonesia is still facing problems and challenges that must be resolved, they are :
- The low export diversification and product quality
- The limited market access
- Occurrence of illegal export and import practices
- Number of practice protectionism in the form of block trading and unfair competition, and also hidden subsidies from developed countries
- Relocation occurs industrial investment to nations of new competitors, a result of less favorable business climate in Indonesia
- Non-tariff barriers which are marked with environmental issues and issues of child labor
- Still weak negotiating ability of the Indonesian delegation at international forums.
